Two-way Satellite Time Transfer
We setup 2 sets of earth station equipment for C-band and Ku-band two-way satellite time transfer experiment. As for the modem, we have one ATLENTIS modem, two SATRE modems, and two NIST modems. We have started the TWSTT experiments with
CRL(Japan) by utilizing the ATLANTIS modem and Ku-band ground station through JCSAT satellite since June, 2000. We plan to execute the TWSTT experiment with
CSIRO(Australia) and NIST(USA) through SATRE modem and C-band facility. TL also purchases a 2.4m Ku band ground station and a TWSTT experiment with
USNO(USA) is planning.
